We collect and process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website including its content and the services offered. The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. By means of this data protection declaration, our company would like to inform the general public of the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed, by means of this data protection declaration, of the rights to which they are entitled. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

3. Collection, storage and use of personal data
a) When visiting the website 

When you visit our website www.minimalnotepad.com, the browser used on your terminal device automatically sends information to the server of our website. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the retrieved file
- Website from which access is made (referrer URL)
- Websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website
- the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. fGDPR. The data mentioned will be processed by us for the following purposes:

- Ensuring a smooth connection setup and the delivery of the website to the user's computer
- Guarantee of the functionality of our website
- Ensuring the security of our information technology systems
- Optimization of the website, Evaluation of system security and stability.

Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for the collection of data. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for achieving the purpose for which they were collected. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility of objection by the user.

b) When using our Newsletter

If you register for our free newsletter, the data requested from you for this purpose, i.e. your email address will be sent to us. We also store the IP address of your computer and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent to receive this newsletter and the type of content it will offer, with reference made to this privacy policy. The data collected will be used exclusively to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You may revoke your prior consent to receive this newsletter under Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR with future effect. All you have to do is inform us that you are revoking your consent or click on the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

4. Disclosure of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

- in the event that there is a legal obligation to pass on data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR
- if this is legally permissible and required for the execution of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. bGDPR.

5. Rights of affected parties

You have the right: - to request information about your personal data processed by us free of charge in accordance with Art. 15GDPR. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of an automated decision-making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details; - in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us; - to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims; - to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR if the correctness of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection against the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR; - in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another responsible person; - in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future, and to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77GDPR. 6. Right of objection
